Reggie Pearson Jr.

2018 | Hall of Fame Inductee

Reggie Pearson Jr. is a LEAD Football Player who graduated from River Rouge High School in 2018. He was recruited out of high school and received a football scholarship to play Safety at the University of Wisconsin.

Reggie was a 4-Year Starter during his high school football career. The number of accolades he earned really speak to his talent: 4x All Conf., 4x All West, 4x All State, 2x Dream Team Selection. Not to mention, Reggie was also All State in Track. By the end of his HS career, Reggie racked up a gnarly 21 interceptions - tied with 7th Place for All-Time Interceptions in MHSAA Football history.

And much like the young adults we are mentoring here at LEAD, Reggie didn’t just put in the work on the football field. He brought that same intensity to the classroom, graduating with a 4.1 GPA. Reggie is a perfect model of a LEAD Student-Athlete and that’s why he is the LEAD Foundation’s 2018 Student-Athlete of the Year.
